In order to give my book 'A Reason to Dance' a bit more depth and realism, i've been studying local culture and history in Japan. If i'm going to write about a time period and place I should probably know more than just the names of the characters living there. On top of all my other projects it feels a bit daunting at time and like I will never write anything worth reading. But then again, I've never finished a work so how will I know? Besides, I write the stories I want to read anyway, I just happen to share them with others.
